Turning a Hotel’s Appeal into Travel Experiences That Inspire.
Aloha! I am Kei Tobu of TRIVE Co., Ltd.
The moments that move us when we travel stay with us for a lifetime. My own decision to enter the travel industry grew out of the excitement and inspiration I felt while traveling abroad as a student—and my wish to share those feelings with more people.
After joining H.I.S. in 2002, I worked in Japan and Hawaii in sales, travel product planning, hotel and tour contracting, and marketing. I have experienced both sides of the business: communicating what makes a hotel special, and creating travel products that bring those experiences to travelers. These two perspectives form the foundation of my work today.
Even an exceptional hotel may be overlooked if its value is not clearly communicated. At TRIVE, we go beyond introducing a hotel’s features. We consider which travelers it will appeal to and what kind of journey we can help them experience, then put those insights into practice through travel trade meetings, training for sales staff, and promotional activities.
We believe in being present, listening carefully, and working together. For hotels, we aim to be a partner that deepens their understanding of the Japanese market. For travel agencies, we provide information that inspires them to recommend our hotel partners to their clients. By building trust between people, we create relationships that support lasting business.
Since founding TRIVE in 2022, I have valued a youthful spirit that finds joy in taking on new challenges. With our passion for travel always at heart, we look forward to exploring new possibilities together with everyone we work with.
